We are pleased to announce the immediate availability of the most perfect version of Parsix GNU/Linux ever, 0.90r0 codename 'Barry'. This version brings the recent open source technologies bound into a quality live/installation CD-ROM right to your desktop/laptop PC. Highlights: improved live functionality and i18n support, vastly improved installer system to install and enable proper functions needed by specific hardware automatically and fully integrated update installation mode to help doing a painless upgrade of your existing Parsix GNU/Linux installations.
Software packages: Linux kernel 2.6.20.1 with CK and Suspend2 patch sets, GNOME 2.18.2 desktop, X.Org 7.2, OpenOffice.org 2.0.4, GNU Iceweasel 2.0.0.3, xFarDic 0.9.1, replaced Sun Java with GCJ, updated documentation, Parsix book 1.0.0 (Persian, 303 pages) included in the CD-ROM, new artwork and lots of bug fixes and clean-ups. Additional packages like Evolution 2.10.2 are available through the Parsix repositories. All packages have been synchronized with Debian/testing repositories as Jun 17, 2007.
