I may be doing something wrong,....
I "reloaded" the repositories (on synaptic package manager)...and searched for the program "wine". When it came up,...I click on it to install,...click on "apply",.......but then I get the message that it can't be downloaded. (?) Also,..it seems that it says a lot of the packages "failed" to download (in the re-loading).
EDIT: (Oh yes,..I'm still using Parsix 1.0r1) |

| If you added the official Wine repositories, then you'll need to uninstall the libwine packages before installing the official Wine package. Debian implements Wine packages differently. |

| Oh nitehawk, Parsix 1.0x (Ramon) repositories are not available anymore! You have to upgrade to Viola the current stable version or Boss the current testing version. |

Thank for the reply! Yes, I certainly will upgrade,..as I find Parsix is a pretty outstanding distro. I'm on a little dialup service,...(so I have to get the CDs)...
So with the Parsix 2.0 ("Boss") will I be able to upgrade from the CD,...or just do a fresh new install? Either way,...I intend to stick with Parsix. |
